Let the beast rise up and get really close to us!
In Sticky Beast you can see that there is a lot of influence from vintage sounds that easily recall pop culture from the sixties, seventies and eighties. From TV series (Disco Beast) to radio shows and video games. The one that is noticeable that has a nod to St. Germain is the one in “Final Round” with “So Flute” by the Frenchman, but with a smile to Mortal Kombat where Sticky Beast wins. I like the game they play with passages in which a collage of sounds and ambient textures appears (I applaud DJ Shadow for that sound puzzle)….
